Tell us the fill specification, required volume, site location and intended use. Where compaction, CBR or other acceptance requirements apply, these must be agreed and supported by appropriate testing; suitability is not assumed.
How is red earth priced?
Ask for a project quotation rather than relying on a generic price per lorry. Material quantity, source, haul distance, loading, vehicle suitability and site access can change the final cost.
Does the calculator include compaction?
No automatic loose-to-compacted conversion is applied. Enter an agreed density and allowance for planning, and confirm these with your project team before ordering.
Topsoil and red soil are different products
Red soil is supplied separately from topsoil. For planting or landscaping enquiries, ask about our topsoil product and confirm its suitability for your intended use.

Use these results to compare the material with your project’s fill requirements. Field compaction and acceptance testing remain subject to the engineer’s specification. Maximum dry density is a laboratory compaction reference, not loose delivery density. These results do not describe our separate topsoil product.
