Shinrai supplies sand for projects in Ipoh and across Perak. Ask us about mining sand, washed coarse sand or fine sand, and tell us the specification your project requires.
Choose sand by specification
The product name alone does not establish suitability. Share the intended application, required grading and any testing or acceptance criteria. We will confirm availability and discuss an appropriate supply before quotation.
What affects the quotation?
Sand type, quantity, delivery location, access and current availability affect the quotation. Include your required date and whether the quantity is in cubic metres or metric tonnes.
Can I estimate how much sand I need?
Use our material calculator with length, width and depth, or enter a known volume. The density is an editable planning assumption; actual delivered tonnage depends on the material condition and weighbridge records.
Topsoil Supplier in Ipoh & Perak ↗Lorry sizes & planning capacities
| Lorry | Internal body dimensions supplied | Level volume | Sand estimate at 1.6 t/m³ |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6-wheel | 13 ft × 7 ft × 20 in | 4.29 m³ | 6.9 t |
| 10-tyre | 21 ft × 84 in × 30 in | 10.41 m³ | 16.7 t |
Sand is quoted by metric tonne; final delivered weight is confirmed by weighbridge net weight. Red earth and topsoil quantities are planned in m³. Volumes assume internal dimensions and level loading; moisture and grading affect sand weight. Actual loading must comply with permitted payload. The soil delivery calculator retains its 10 m³ planning load for the larger tipper; 6-wheel transport requires a separate quotation.
Recommended sizes only. Actual tipper body dimensions and capacities vary between lorries. Excavator/loading bucket sizes also vary, so bucket counts alone do not establish an exact delivered volume. Confirm the assigned lorry, agreed load quantity and permitted payload before delivery; use weighbridge net weight for sand sold by tonne.
